Description

 

Bed linen made from mercerised percale is durable and absorbs moisture well, while allowing your skin to breathe.

 

Details and specification of the MyAlpaca LOVES COTTON percale Flat sheet

Percale (French: percale) is cotton cloth - cotton with a plain or linear weave. In the weaving process, there are two directions: warp and weft. In percale weaving, the technique consists of 1 thread up, 1 thread down, which makes the fabric smooth and very tightly woven.

Percale is popular for making bed linen because it is highly durable, yet pleasant to the touch, lightweight, and breathable. If you value long-lasting use and durability, choose natural bed linen made from cotton percale.

The flat sheet is finished with a 10 cm border along the upper edge. It can be used as an additional layer beneath a duvet cover or under a lighter bedspread on warmer summer nights.


Composition: Percale, 100% mercerised cotton, 300 TC threads/in²


Care:

Machine wash at 40° C
Wash colours separately, inside out, do not bleach.
Tumble dry at low temperature.
We recommend air drying outdoors, hung in the wind.
Iron at up to 150° C.

Additionally, to maintain the softness and breathability of the bed linen, avoid mixing synthetic and natural fibres during washing: particles from synthetic fabrics can cling permanently to cotton.
