At myalpaca.eu, all our alpaca duvets are filled exclusively with pure alpaca fibre. We offer four levels of filling: Summer, All Seasons, Winter, and the versatile 4 Seasons set. Everyone’s warmth preference is personal, and the ideal duvet also depends on your room temperature — ideally not exceeding 21°C. We’re happy to help you choose the alpaca duvet that will provide the maximum comfort for your sleep.
"Grandma’s Trick: Corner Loops: Our duvets feature loops sewn into the binding at each corner and the middle of each side, allowing you to attach the duvet securely to the cover. Thanks to cotton ties sewn inside every MyAlpaca cover, the duvet corners won’t slip out of the cover’s corners. Simple.
Additionally, the Summer and All Seasons duvets can be joined using these loops and ties to create the 4 Seasons duvet — an ideal solution for hot and cold nights. Our natural linen and cotton bedding also feature this Grandma’s Trick — ties sewn into the inside corners of the cover, which you can fasten to the duvet loops to keep the duvet in place overnight. Simple.
Extended Corners: MyAlpaca duvets have slightly extended corners (about 5–7 cm) so they fill the corners of your duvet cover better. Because of this, we always measure the width and length of the duvet at its centre.

How to Care for Alpaca Duvets?
Regularly air your duvet outdoors – especially on hot, dry, sunny, breezy days. This should be enough to keep your bedding fresh, especially if you frequently change your pillowcases and covers.
If required, dry clean gently in low temperatures. Make sure that your dry cleaning service follows instructions for woollen products.
Warning: do not subject to excess heat at any time, as this may ruin your duvet and void your warranty.
Note that the cold machine setting that works for your wool sweaters is actually not recommended, because the agitation alone may shift or shrink the fibres inside your duvet. Spot-cleaning with cold water and flat-drying is fine.
