For duvet casings, we use densely woven, silky, lightweight, and breathable cotton. It feels exceptionally soft to the touch with a natural sheen, in white. Our natural cotton carries the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, ensuring textile safety.
The same applies to our labels and piping. Piping with the MyAlpaca pattern is printed using Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class I technology (safe for infants and children under 3 years).
Optimal Filling Weight
Covering yourself with a duvet of optimal weight has a positive effect on the mind. Experts say that being wrapped in a suitably weighted duvet reduces anxiety and stress, as gentle pressure stimulates serotonin production – the “happiness hormone” that also supports sleep regulation.
Alpaca wool filling has an optimal weight; for example, a MyAlpaca all-season 200 × 200 cm duvet weighs 1,600 g in total, with 800 g of alpaca wool filling and 800 g for the cotton casing and piping.

Our duvets are made in our Krosno workshop, with over a decade of tradition. Each duvet is hand-quilted with care, preserving the classical techniques of the quilters’ guild.
This craftsmanship ensures exceptional quality and durability. Hand quilting distributes the fibre evenly, preventing cold spots – something unavoidable with machine stitching.

Created in collaboration with talented designers, our duvets combine elegance with functionality. MyAlpaca duvets have received multiple awards for their craftsmanship and design.
Quilting patterns, developed with master quilt makers, maintain the filling perfectly in place.
Extended corners (approx. 2.5 cm) ensure better filling of duvet covers.
Loops sewn into the corners allow attachment of the cover with ties, preventing the duvet from shifting during the night. Two lighter duvets can also be joined for colder nights.

Handcrafted-to-order
We craft our duvets and pillows by hand, made to individual order. Each piece is given a unique number, confirming its authenticity and bespoke character. Thanks to our handmade production, we can adjust many parameters to your needs: the size, the level of duvet filling (summer, all-season, or winter), the pillow height (low, medium, or high), the colour of the piping, and the packaging collection.
