About Us
We created the MyAlpaca brand and products from the belief that people live healthier
when surrounded by what is natural, authentic, ethically made, and created with love.
Nature gives us what is healthiest, and one of its wonders is alpaca fibre.
Our story began in 2014 with a small alpaca farm in Podkarpacie, near Krosno, and a few sacks of alpaca wool.
Alpacas originate from the Andean highlands, where they have been bred for wool for thousands of years. They arrived in Poland only twenty years ago. We decided to fill our luxury duvets and pillows with their extraordinary fibre, prized for its unique health benefits.
For the covers, we use only densely woven cotton. Our piping, cordings, ties, and labels are also entirely natural.

Meet Alpacas
Our duvets and pillows are handmade using traditional quilting techniques. In Poland, quilt-making — the art of hand-stitching duvets — belonged to the linen crafts within the tailors’ guild, which has existed in Kraków since 1380. Unfortunately, by the late 1960s, with the growing popularity of cheaper machine-made duvets, traditional quilt-making workshops gradually began to disappear.
We were able to reach the masters of this craft. With their help, we acquired a historic carding machine and restored it to its former glory, while our quilting looms were created based on traditional models.
By handcrafting each duvet and pillow, we aim to preserve this beautiful artisanal craft from being forgotten, while educating a new generation of masters, creating exclusive and beautiful products in the process.
How We Make Each DuvetEach duvet and pillow is made slowly, with mindfulness and respect for tradition. Filled with the finest ethically sourced alpaca wool, they carry a story of understated luxury — one that does not shout, but envelops, ensuring a deep and restorative sleep.
We collaborate with talented designers to ensure that our designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but above all functional.
We strive to operate responsibly and sustainably, caring for the environment and being animal-friendly. All our products are 100% natural and responsibly sourced from trusted suppliers.
