How do I choose the right duvet size for my bed?
When selecting the appropriate duvet size, you should consider both the width and length of the bed including the mattress. But it’s also important to take the bed type into account – a framed bed or a continental bed.

Duvet length = mattress length
Duvet width = mattress width + 2 × mattress height (so that the duvet drapes over the sides of the bed)
For lower framed or upholstered beds, where the mattress sits within the bed frame, if you do not want the frame to be partially covered by the duvet, the width of the duvet should be equal to the mattress width + 2 × the visible mattress height.
For continental beds, the duvet can either drape over the sides or be tucked in at the foot of the bed (as is common in France or Sweden). In this case, the duvet should be about 20 cm longer than the standard size, meaning: Duvet length = mattress length + 1 × mattress height
