Cotton sateen bedding has a subtle sheen that gives it a luxurious appearance.
It allows the skin to breathe and is soft and smooth to the touch.

 

 

Details and specifications – cotton sateen Bolster pillowcase

When we speak of cotton sateen, we are referring to cotton woven with a sateen weave. Although the technique differs from plain cotton, it is still 100% cotton. In weaving, there are two directions: warp and weft. Plain cotton uses a one-up, one-down weave, known as a plain weave. Satin weave typically uses three to seven threads over and one thread under.

 

The cotton satin bolster pillowcase retains the essential properties of cotton – it breathes well and absorbs moisture efficiently – but the sateen weave adds several advantages:

 

A subtle sheen, giving it a luxurious look.

More elasticity, slightly quieter than regular cotton, soft and smooth to the touch.

Slightly warmer than standard cotton, thanks to the tighter weave.

Easier to iron than plain cotton.

The weave allows skin and hair to glide more smoothly over the fabric.

 

Composition: 100% cotton with OEKO-TEX® certification, satin weave.

Envelope-style closure with cotton ties.

Care:

Machine wash at 40 °C.
Wash colours separately, inside out.
Do not use bleach.
Tumble dry on low heat.
We recommend air-drying outdoors.
Iron at up to 150 °C.
