Zero waste — and happy dogs who love the comfort and subtle scent of our alpaca beds, which are filled with natural alpaca wool fibres reclaimed during the carding process for our duvets, pillows, and yarns.

MyAlpaca is a responsible and sustainable brand. The natural by-products from carding alpaca wool for duvets, pillows, and yarns are used to fill 100% natural, eco-friendly, luxurious handmade dog mattresses. Zero waste — and happy dogs who love the comfort and subtle scent of our alpaca beds.

 

ALPACA WOOL

Alpaca wool does not retain moisture. It has natural thermoregulating properties and insulates from the ground, keeping dogs warm and dry. The mattress adapts perfectly to the dog’s body, supporting the spine and hips, easing muscle tension, and helping joints for optimal comfort.

 

COVER

The removable cover is made from a durable, tightly woven fabric with a distinctive raw texture. The material is a blend of natural fibres such as viscose and linen, combined with synthetic fibres. Its high abrasion resistance makes it strong and suitable for pet beds. Easy-clean and liquid-resistant technologies ensure comfort of use. The Oeko-Tex certification guarantees the fabric is free from allergens and completely safe for life and health.

MY ALPACA FOR DOGS

Our dog beds are modular: you can order the bed (mattress with cover), the mattress alone, or purchase a separate cover. You can also choose a bed set with a pillow, with covers included. Dogs also like to snuggle with the pillow or rest their head higher. A narrow, long pillow also provides good insulation from the wall if the bed is placed against it.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

 

Mattress: Air regularly outdoors. Spot wash by hand in cold water. Refresh with steam.

Cover: Dry clean recommended.

If you choose to hand wash the cover, or machine wash it on a gentle/hand wash cycle at 30°C, this may remove the liquid-resistant finish.
