Linen is the perfect fabric for bedding. Like alpaca fibre, it naturally regulates temperature.

 

The linen sheet stays cool in summer and warm in winter.

Linen is soft, gentle, and wonderfully comfortable for sleeping. One of its most remarkable qualities is its ability to regulate heat. Many associate linen bedding with summer—and rightly so. Linen allows the skin to breathe and keeps the air between you and the fabric fresher and cooler than the surrounding air.

Thanks to its moisture-wicking properties, linen absorbs humidity and releases it easily, ensuring your skin stays dry and the pillowcase remains fresh even on hot nights.

But linen is also cosy in winter, retaining warmth close to the body.

This makes linen bedding perfect for year-round use.

 

No need to iron your linen sheet.

A linen sheets highly recommended if you love a relaxed, effortlessly chic bed. Stone-washed linen is soft, naturally slightly crumpled, and doesn’t require ironing, making it easy to care for—a style beloved by many.

Linen fibres, derived from the flax plant, are three times stronger than cotton. Your linen duvet cover will last up to three times longer than a cotton one. With every wash, it becomes softer and even more beautiful—provided care instructions are followed.

 

The linen sheet is more environmentally friendly than cotton

A linen sheet is not only a sustainable choice, but also an environmentally friendly one. For example, the production of linen uses significantly less water and fewer harmful chemicals. That’s why MyAlpaca LOVES LINEN.

Material: 100% stone-washed linen. Stone-washed linen is pre-treated with alternating hot and cold water and steam. This shrinks the fibres and stabilises the dimensions of the fabric.

The fitted sheet has corners with a band of elastic sewn into the hem, and 35 cm deep sides to fit mattresses up to 28 cm high.

 

Care:

Machine wash at 40°C.
Wash colours separately, inside out.
Do not bleach.
Tumble dry on low heat or air-dry outside on a line.
Iron up to 150°C.
