The Suri shawl delights with its softness, lustre, and elegant, plush weave.

 

Details and Specifications – Suri Baby Alpaca Shawl

The shawl is made from 100% Suri baby alpaca wool. Baby alpaca is the finest fibre of this exceptional breed, obtained from the first shearing of young animals. Suri alpacas represent only around 7% of the world’s alpaca population, and their wool is among the most exclusive and expensive natural fibres in the world.

Suri baby alpaca fibre is long, lustrous, and slightly wavy, reaching up to 50 cm in length. It is lightweight, soft, breathable, moisture-wicking, and highly thermoregulatory. From this fibre is spun a silky-sheen yarn, used to weave shawls with longer fibres and a more luxurious, plush texture.

The shawl measures 70 × 200 cm and is elegantly finished with fringes on both ends.

 

Composition: 100% ALPACA (Suri baby alpaca wool)

Weight: 325 g

 

Care:

We recommend delicate dry cleaning at low temperatures. Please ensure your dry cleaner follows wool care instructions.
