In the Toile de MyAlpaca collection, all duvets are packaged in practical bags, and pillows are packaged in elegant cases, hand-sewn from cotton embellished with the Toile de MyAlpaca pattern, designed exclusively for us by Swedish designer Bärbel Dressler. Each case is fastened with fabric-covered buttons, creating an aesthetically pleasing and durable finish.
The idea for bags and cases arose from a need expressed by customers who didn't want to be without their favorite duvet or pillow, even for a single night. Now, thanks to these practical packaging options, you can take them with you on vacation, a weekend getaway, or any other trip.

Toile de MyAlpaca – a classic in a new version
The Toile de MyAlpaca pattern was designed especially for us by Swedish textile designer Bärbel Dressler. It draws inspiration from the classic Toile de Jouy motifs—patterns popular in France in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. These distinctive illustrations, usually in a single tone against a light background, depicted idyllic scenes of rural life: romantic couples, shepherds, gardens, and rural landscapes.

The name Toile de Jouy literally means "cloth from Jouy" – after the town of Jouy-en-Josas near Versailles, where one of the most famous factories producing these fabrics operated. Designs were engraved on copper plates and then printed on cotton. These decorated fabrics were used for upholstering furniture, decorating interiors, curtains, and even the dresses of Marie Antoinette and her court.
The characteristic arrangement of independent scenes and small leaves and ornaments between them was a response to the limitations of printing technology – and today it is a hallmark of the Toile style.
Today, this pattern is experiencing a true renaissance, finding applications not only in interiors but also in fashion and stationery. In our interpretation of Toile de MyAlpaca, it has become the leitmotif of a unique collection: duvet covers, pillow cases, and satin cotton bedding create a set perfect for spring, summer, and any trip – because thanks to them, you can take your beloved alpaca duvet and pillow with you wherever you go.

Bärbel Dressler about Toile de MyAlpaca pattern:
„Creating the design for MyAlpaca was a real pleasure. From the start, I had a clear vision – delicate, idyllic scenes with an alpaca as the central figure, surrounded by nature, symbolizing peace, comfort, and rest. That's exactly what MyAlpaca duvets and pillows offer – soothing relief and natural softness that accompanies us every night.”
